“I started Training and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching with Melanie just 6 weeks ago. When I contacted Mel I was completely unaware of how wrong I had the concept of healthy diet and exercise. I thought I was doing everything possible to be fit and healthy - I was exercising every day of the week, sometimes twice a day, and eating a high carb, low fat, vegetarian diet. I was sick of being consumed by focusing on exercise and diet in a negative way and I was completely disheartened about always being on a diet and spending hours in the gym but never seeing any results. As soon as I met Mel she explained to me the basic principals of metabolic typing and it has literally set me free. I now know that FAT is not an enemy and there is no ‘one-size-fits-all approach to diet’. I also know that I don’t need to over exercise to control my weight, in fact this is completely unproductive. Thanks to Mel’s advice and training I am feeling fit, strong, well rested and more balanced than I probably ever have. Even though I am only beginning the program I look forward to continuing to learn more and making this change a lifelong commitment. I recommend Mel’s program in the highest manner after what she has helped me achieve in just 6 weeks. I have been a touring musician for 27 years. Now at 43 I have to work smarter when it comes to health and fitness. At the beginning of 2011 I weighed 65kg, felt sluggish looked porky and was not motivated at all. I started training with Melanie Hawksley when I moved to the area. In 10 weeks I had lost 10kg. Mel helped me work out what and when I ate and all my training regime. All I had to do was have the strength and desire to want to change my life. I also did yoga once a week for my own pleasure. My mechanic said... 'Geez you've lost 10 years! ' I felt great and now I have the re education with my diet and get enough help from Melanie Hawksley that I can use it with me now in Tasmania. Your info is amazing am taking it all in, you look fab mel .have changed the way ive been eating and the last couple of weeks have found ive got more energy so something is right well done girlie and keep the info coming .take care maz xx
